Directors for MCCRG:

Marilyn Ginsburg is a retired human rights lawyer. She has been active for many years on the executive of the Grandview Area Residents Association in Thornhill. She is a recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for her years of volunteer work in her community.

 

Eileen Liasi is a retired high school teacher. She is a director and past Vice-President of the German Mills Residents Association in Thornhill. She has been active in local affairs and municipal politics for many years and has worked on a variety of issues. She was recently recognized by the City of Markham with the award of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for services to the community.

Karen Rea – resigned on March 11, 2014. Karen was elected as Ward#4 Councillor for Markham in Oct , 2014.

 

Jim Kwan – Jim Kwan is a full time real estate broker since 1984 and President of his own real estate company. He writes the “Markham Voice” column about Markham issues for a local Chinese newspaper. He is a member of the Fair and Responsible Governance Alliance (FARGA) and Markham Alliance for Clean Air (MACA). Jim has run in the last three elections for Ward 2.

 
Norman Manara
– resigned on April 14, 2015. Norman is moving to the west coast this summer (2015).

Robert Mok is a Markham property owner, columnist, broadcaster, and former Vice president of a Condo Corp. He was Manager of Quality Auditing and Measurement for a major Nuclear Equipment Manufacturer for 20 years. He is currently a retired Quality Consultant for products and services. He was an Executive on the American Society for Quality Hamilton section for over 2 decades.
